Welcome to our Rental Program.
Are you interested in learning to play an instrument, but don’t want to invest too much up front?
Do you need to purchase an instrument after using a borrowed/school instrument?
At the Music Place, you can now rent instruments from less than $20 per week.
It’s really quite simple, and all you need to do is commit to at least a 6 month rental period – after which you can cancel the agreement and simply return the instrument.
But why 6 months?
Most music teachers have told us that it takes 6 months for a beginning student to really adapt to their instrument, so we want to support this view by encouraging students to develop their skills for at least 6 months.
What if I want to upgrade my instrument?
This is a common option – and one that many teachers seem to encourage also.
Whether you are currently renting an instrument, or simply need to upgrade your current instrument, our Rental Program is a great way to move on to a more advanced instrument that is able to respond to the developments you see in playing.
Can I buy the instrument I am renting?
Absolutely! It shows that you are really enjoying the instrument.
Ask us for more details about how much you might need to pay, depending on how long you’ve been renting the instrument.
What do I do next?
Come and see us – you will need to make sure you select the right instrument, which is what we do best. From there, it’s a few simple forms, and you’re done. You can take the instrument home and start playing!
